Circumstances:	The cat was meowing loudly, approaching my mother’s house and was very hungry. She was fed a little and then I tried to knock on doors to find her owner as she seemed lost and seeking attention. I took her to the vet and had her scanned and she had no chip. I was told to put her back where I found her with a paper collar around her neck with my details (if her owner found her, they could just take this off). The next day someone found her with the collar and brought her back so it seems she didn’t manage to get home to her owner (if she has one). I therefore took her in.
