Circumstances: My daughter heard the cat crying loudly outside our car as we parked up coming back from the shops and although it was dark, she could see it was a black cat. She thought it sounded lost and it was raining heavily and we thought it must have been cut off from the village because of flooding and had come this way over the fields. She put out some food as our cats were all indoors and the food went. Last night we heard the same cat again outside and also this evening
