Circumstances:	Rehomed from Winslow direct from owners via Cats Protection, Macclesfield on 23 June 2019. Marley is extremely timid, he found his place in the porch (staring out of the locked cat flap door), stayed there all day. I would go into see and speak to him, to feed him. I was told he spends long hours outside and tends to hide when home. He does not seek close contact but had bonded to the son of previous owner - they had Marley for 8 years. He ate very little before he went missing. I did give him some water the night before his escape. He used the litter tray for both motions. He managed to smash his way through the cat flap door (which I’ve since glued), I heard the noise and saw his tail disappear. By the time I got outside I spotted him in the middle of our road but I lost him in the shadows, looked everywhere calling his name but he didn’t respond.
