LOST
Jet
Name: Jet
Breed & Species: Domestic short-haired cat
Colour: Black
SimpleColour:
Went missing: 8 years ago
(01 February 2018 at around 10:42 AMhrs)
Location: St Leonards Way, Cardrona, United Kingdom
Health: Healthy
Age: 17 years old
Sex: Neutered Male
Collar: No
Microchipped: Yes
Markings: Small patch of white on chest, larger patch of white on tummy, one ear has a tear in it at the top
Circumstances: Jet was last seen asleep in the house. He has ongoing access to the outdoors via a cat flap. He does go out at night but is rarely out for long at this time of year. There was no sign of him @ 6:00am on Friday when I got up which is extremely unusual as it was feeding time and food matters to him. I have not seen him since late Thursday night. He has never disappeared from the house like this in the 7 and a half years he’s lived with me. Even last summer when he was much more active due to undiagnosed (at the time) hyperthyroidism and was often out the house for several hours, he always returned and was never absent for more than 5/6 hours. He has been treated for hyperthyroidism by radioiodine injection. Thyroid level have subsequently returned to normal but is still under review. He’s due a three month check in around 2 weeks.
