Circumstances:	I saw this poor cat just inside the low wall between the St Clements pavement and the Citygate block of flats. He or she was lying on top of a fallen lettings agents' sign. The cat was lying on its side, extremely peacefully, as if in sleep. Although deceased, there was no visible external injury, and its eyes were shut. There weren't any flies on him or her or anything nasty, so please don't imagine that (to the owners). The body was very relaxed (I'm saying all this because I'm a former cat owner and lifelong cat owner and I don't want the owners to imagine anything worse than it was).
