Circumstances:	I was walking up the street when I saw the cat sitting on the pavement, mewing. I held out my hand and the cat ran towards me, very friendly, sniffing my hand, but it kept crying. It wasn't bleeding, dirty, or thin; it wasn't obviously hurt in any way. I'm just concerned that it was crying because it was lost.
Other info:	Very silky long hair, a small slim body - the cat was very light, but not thin, so if lost perhaps not missing for long. Friendly but a bit nervous, it cried a lot which made me worry it was a lost animal.
