Circumstances:	I sadly found a cat that was passed away outside of the Rushes car park exit in Loughborough at 9am on 27/10/24. I picked them up gently with care and took them to Pinfold Vets in East Leake in the hope that they can be found by their owner. The vet couldn’t find a microchip but they were a tortoiseshell, the vet thought the cat might be under a year old and estimated them to have passed away in the early hours of the morning possibly due to a road traffic accident. Pinfold vets will also be putting up a post and can be contacted for more information (01509 606979). I tried to be as gentle with them as much as possible and told them that I hope they rest in peace as even though they were already gone when I found them I wanted to provide them some comfort and make sure they were taken respectfully to the vets and hopefully this will give some peace to their owners if they read this and know they were handled gently and lovingly after passing
