Circumstances:	He normally goes for a walk around the garden, sometimes goes out missing for no more than 3 hours. I sat up until midnight waiting at the back door but he didn't return. We have had him exactly a year this week and this is the first time he has stayed out all night, I checked the back door sporadically throughout the night with no longer than 2 hour gaps. When he goes out during the day you will see him strolling around the garden every now and again and he is never out of the house for longer than a few hours.
