Circumstances:	LOST / DISPLACED Between Canterbury Drive, Brighton and Lancing via A27 PLEASE SHARE Missing since since morning of Wednesday 19th May 2021 Thorin is an 8 year old ginger tabby male, missing between Canterbury Drive, off Upper Lewes Road, in Brighton and Lancing, after he is thought to have climbed into the back of a metal cage on back of a Sanctuary Maintenance truck this morning (Wednesday) outside Holt Lodge on Canterbury Drive, off Upper Lewes Road, that was travelling to Lancing, via Ditchling Road through Hollingbury and then onto the A27. We understand the driver was alerted to the fact a ginger cat had been spotted in the back of his vehicle, once he was through the tunnel, nearing Shoreham, however by the time he got to Lancing depot (address to be added), no cat could be found. This means that Thorin may have climbed out of the truck somewhere between these two locations. The drover did not make any more work related stops along the way and would only have been stopping at traffic lights/due to traffic flow. Thorin is usually a very friendly and talkative boy, but if scared he won’t enjoy being picked up. He also has a habit of going in to people’s houses in our neighbourhood so he might try that too. Thorin is neutered and microchipped, wearing a black leather collar with diamanté stones and ID tags with name, contact info, postcode and 'DO NO FEED' written on them.. Please help us to reunite Thorin by checking bushes, gardens, sheds, garages, basements, outdoor storage areas etc and if you do see him, please contact me. Please help me find my precious boy!
Other info:	He has a very loud, insistent voice, several bells and tags on his collar which make a lot of noise (to prevent him catching birds). Yellow eyes. He doesn't purr, or does so very very quietly even when happy. Thick, lovely fur.
