Circumstances:	She was playing, just like she always does, while I was caught up with something. Her chattering suddenly stopped, and I assumed she had fallen asleep. But when I went to check on her, she wasn’t there. Neither on the curtains nor on the hangers where she usually loves to perch. That’s when I saw it: the window, barely open. My heart sank as the awful realization hit me; she must have escaped. Desperately, I searched every corner of my apartment, hoping, praying, but she was nowhere to be found.
Other info:	Her name is Molly, and she is a 3-month-old barred parakeet. She is very curious and approachable. If you find her, please let me know 🙏🙏
