Circumstances:	Some girls called on our door the night before last saying they had found a little ginger cat with a white belly lost in the foyer and were trying to find it’s owner. They asked us if we could take it in because their mum wouldn’t let them. We said no because our landlord won’t let us have animals, but then we found it on its own shortly after crying in the stairwell of our block. It ran up to me when I went to see if it was ok so I have taken it in anyway! I took him to the vets yesterday morning who confirmed he is not microchipped. I have put up 12 posters in the building and around the area and posted on Nextdoor with no luck. We will leave it another week in case someone still comes forward. I am in the process of registering as a cat foster carer for him in case the owners don’t come forward, but he’s super friendly and seems very happy for the time being!
